Auntsfield Estate Marlborough

Auntsfield Estate

Shaped by glaciers over ten thousand years, uncovered by a true pioneer of wine making in New Zealand and preserved by the Cowley family, Auntsfield Estate is the beginning of the vinous history of Marlborough. The original vineyard was established in 1873 and made highly regarded wine for over 50 years. The dramatic hillside vineyard with its unique variety of soils is again producing premium wines under the guidance of the Cowley family. The proud heritage of the land is the inspiration to produce exciting, handcrafted wines of balance and individuality that display the special terroir of this historic Marlborough vineyard.

Today the Cowleys farm everything organically (certified) and utilize native yeast fermentation for most of their ferments. The wines are regarded in the highest echelon of Marlborough producers and continue to grow from strength to strength.

Boulder Bank By Nick Goldschmidt

Boulder Bank

Boulder Bank wines are crafted from grapes grown on sustainably farmed vineyards in New Zealand. These vineyards are part of a nationwide effort called Sustaninable Winegrowing New Zealand. Comprised of river rock and sandy loam typical of vineyards near the Opawa River, Kerseley does hold a most unusual distinction: it lies below sea level. The salinity in the soil imparts an attractive minerality to the finished wine.vGentle afternoon breezes and cool night temperatures permit slow and even ripening throughout the vineyard and modest yields are obtained by cane-pruning. Separate shoots maximize cluster exposure. Nick visits Marlborough several times per year to ensure his meticulous viticultural regimen is followed.

Forefathers By Nick Goldschmidt

Forefathers

The Goldschmidt Vineyard label is a program designed to showcase single vineyard source wines from both the Alexander Valley and Napa Valley Oakville appellations. The goal is to create wines that highlight the distinct characters, benefits and attributes derived from these site specific harvests. Goldschmidt Vineyards Cabernets are crafted with the best possible resources to achieve exceptional richness, quality and balance – the hallmarks of world-class wines.

Monawai Hawke's Bay

Monowai Setates

New Zealand winemaker Emma Lowe & Chilean vineyard manager Marcelo Nunez travelled from Chile to the foothills of the Kaweka Ranges to establish their vineyard and winery. The couple selected a site on the banks of the Ngaruroro River in Crownthorpe, a cooler, higher altitude district of the Hawke's Bay. Here they live and work, hand crafting fine wines exclusively from grapes grown on their 22 hectare vineyard.

Misty Cove

Misty Cove

We are more than just a wine company. We are a story. Our motto is stay true, but stay rogue. Be yourself, but always kick ass. Do what you love and do it well. Life is short, break the rules. Produce incredible wines for people to fall in love with. Enough said.

"For me my favourite aspect of wine is sitting down with friends and enjoying a glass and a bit of a laugh. Having a great meal together and sharing stories. That's what wine's all about - it brings people together." - Andrew Bailey (Founder, CEO).

We call him Mr Misty Cove but his real name’s Andrew Bailey. The Misty Cove label is the hard graft of this hard case South Islander. In creating Misty Cove Wines, Bailey set out to produce incredible wines and a culture of NZ winemaking free from the tyranny of snobbery. From the wine making and vineyard work, to sales and marketing, Andrew’s not interested in bourgeois BS when it comes to making great wine.
